Raised in SouthSide Jamaica Queens where at a young age I was already getting involved with as many elements of Hip Hop and the streets as I possibly could. My love for the music and the culture led me to pursue a career in the music biz. I never thought when I was listening to Slick Rick,KRS-ONE,BIG DADDY KANE & RAKIM that I had what it take." Fastforward to 2006 and you got a MC thats took his experience in life and put it into his music. After years of "paying dues" and learning industry rule# 4080, shady business Demorne got together with former D&D Studio mananger Paul Twumasi and started a record label DO FOR SELF ENTERTAINMENT. With producers Felix, Rob, Eric, and others Do For Self started like a family now its a movement. The only way we can get what we want and need is to do for self, and thats real, for real.
